Promontory Cars is a family-owned collector and specialty dealership in the Texas Hill Country. We buy, consign, and sell cars people actually care about — classics, enthusiast vehicles, and well-chosen pre-owned inventory — from our location at 28611 IH-10 West in Boerne.
This is not a high-volume franchise floor. The work is more deliberate, and more personal. Every listing, every title packet, every conversation with a seller or buyer has to hold up. If you like cars, take pride in clean process, and prefer a small team over a crowded sales pit, you will recognize the difference immediately.
What the work is like You will spend your days around real inventory, real paperwork, and real customers — collectors, estates, first-time classic buyers, and people who have been shopping a particular car for years. Accuracy matters. Follow-through matters. How we represent a car matters as much as whether it sells.
People who do well at Promontory Cars tend to be:
- Genuinely interested in cars, not just in closing a deal
- Organized and detail-minded — titles, photos, descriptions, and customer notes have to be right
- Comfortable talking with collectors and everyday buyers without the hard sell
- Reliable in a small team, where one person’s work is visible
- Proud of how the place looks and how customers are treated
Experience in automotive retail, titles, consignment, detailing, photography, or service coordination is welcome. Enthusiasm and integrity matter more than a franchise pedigree.
